Private Dutch lessons
The language most requested by French-speaking students, and the one where speaking is the most daunting.
Daring to speak, building vocabulary, mastering grammar
School Dutch is assessed largely in writing, but speaking is where most students get stuck. They have the rules and the vocabulary; what they lack is speaking time. In a class of twenty-five, it is counted in seconds per hour.
That is exactly what a one-to-one lesson changes: the student speaks for most of the session. The coach corrects as they go, asks for rephrasing, and works on grammar when the student needs it.
With their coach, the pupil reviews grammar and verb conjugation, builds vocabulary, practises listening and speaking, and prepares for the CE1D. Adults work on their business Dutch.

Dutch lessons: your questions
This is the most common situation in Dutch. Vocabulary learned from lists stays passive as long as it has never been used to say something. The work consists of getting the student speaking from the very first session, even awkwardly, rather than revising more.
Yes. In immersion, the difficulty often lies less in the language than in the subjects taught in it: history or sciences in Dutch. The coach is chosen accordingly.
Yes, particularly for a job or an exam with a set date. The programme starts from the professional goal and its deadline, which changes the order in which the language is tackled: useful speaking first, comprehensive grammar afterwards.
