Free online tests

Test your level, free and with no sign-up. One question at a time, then your result and the answers explained.

The language tests follow the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery). Not sure where to start? Take the test for the level you think you have: with 8 out of 10 or more, try the next level.

These tests are self-assessments: they give you an idea of your level, but they do not replace an official test.
